Travel Update

Looks like my flight is still scheduled to go @21:00 tonight, so hopefully tucking into Peking duck and pancakes before midnight. The Aussies are talking of a quick wicket in Melbourne, load of tosh it'll be the same as always, just a load of spin, the only decent spin they have!
Looking forward to see the MCG, looks massive so hope my seat is decent.

Heathrow what a load of grit

Looks like only a 1/3 of flights will go out between now and Wednesday, got everything crossed, I promise not to complain about the heat in Auz, honest.

Will I get there in time

Not long now, flying out to Melbourne tomorrow for the rest of the Ashes, it's snow snow in the UK so busy checking on flights out of Heathrow, looks hopeful (fingers crossed). After a dismal 3rd test , it's game on so should be in for some good cricket. I'm flying non stop to Melbourne with a pit stop in Shangai, hope the food is ok and not subjected to Jackie Chan movies the whole way. Meeting up with an old mate from my old job and staying at his place in Melbourne so looking forward to it. Off to watch the fireworks at New Year at the harbour bridge in Sydney while the UK sits and watches a recored Jools Holland, then the 5th test on the 3rd.
Christmas Day is being spent with the Barmy Army at the Xmas lunch, let's hope I make it up in time for Boxing Day and the 4th Test. Now how's that weather doing ?
